Citizens Bank is currently offering a $100 checking account promotion. The offer expires on December 15th, 2009. You get $50 for setting up direct deposit for a payment of at least $50. You get $25 for making 5 online bill payments, and you get $25 for making 5 signature based debit or credit card purchases. Citizens Bank’s Green Checking qualifies for the promotion which only requires $50 to open and has no monthly fees or minimum balance requirements.
